Petrophysics - RPS employs experienced analysts who are equipped with POWERLOG software, the standard of the industry. Log analysis is handled start to finish by these analysts who have over 25 years of log interpretation experience in all geological environments.
Geo Cellular Modeling - RPS routinely constructs full 3D geocellular models for purposes of field studies and reservoir simulation. In many instances, using their proprietary software, these models can be constructed in one or two days as opposed to weeks using other industry approaches. Geo Cellular models are constructed from the subsurface control which can be defined by properly processed well logs. Models containing millions of cells have been constructed, with each cell containing the key rock/reservoir parameters as defined by the petrophysical analysis. Three dimensional contouring of these parameters leads to precise definition of flow units that can then be tied to production history information.
3D Visualization - RPS has developed a custom toolbox of 3D Visualization software that allows the analyst and the client to jointly view the complex stratigraphic relationships contained in the geocellular model directly on the PC, without the need for expensive imaging workstations and special visualization rooms. The entire project is completely portage, as it runs on a standard laptop using off the shelf software and hardware. Real time design of horizontal and deviated holes as well are being drilled and the geocellular model is updated is available.
Portable workstations allow work to be performed in client office upon special request.
